Don’t be disappointed

I didn’t run 5 miles last night. I actually didn’t run at all.

Tonight is the annual fundraising show I’m in — The Follies — and we had our ech rehearsal all day  yesterday. The plan was to run afterwards, but I spent 7 hours there working and when I left, I just wanted to go home. Plus I had to do my hair for tonight.

So I skipped my practice. With the intention to get up this morning and run before our noon rehearsal. That was already a fail when I didn’t get to sleep until early this morning (it takes a long time to do my hair). So in 1 hour and 40 minutes, I have to head to Swansea for rehearsal. And I’ve got things to do to prepare for the show tonight.

So I may not run today either.

Saturday, there are no excuses. So I’ll definitely run tomorrow. How far? Not sure yet. Our group run Sunday is 6 miles, so I may try to do 4 on Saturday, just to not over exert myself.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know what is happening. I know they’re all excuses,  but they’re the truth.

Gotta go. There’s a show to perform. See you guys tomorrow.
